Oh. My. God. Possibly the craziest lawsuit ever (EVER) filed!!!

Jonathan Lee Riches, a prisoner in South Carolina, has filed a lawsuit against Michael Vick.  And this time I actually feel sorry for Vick.

Riches alleges a laundry list of routine crimes including fraud and conspiracy.  Now, that’s really pretty wrong given what he himself is doing.

The suit is for $63,000,000,000 (that’s BILLION, folks).  And Riches’ claim is that Vick stole his two pitbulls, used them in dog fighting, then sold them on e-bay.

And it gets better (this is actually the good part).  He says that Vick used the proceeds from the sale to buy missiles from the Iranian government.  He would need those missiles because he was faithful to al-Qaeda, pledging allegiance to them in February of this year.

Riches wants Vick to

stop physically hurting my feelings and dashing my hopes.

Um, how do you physically hurt someone’s feelings.  (The answer, by the way, is that you can’t).

He is either on some heavy duty drugs or is seriously mentally ill.  Or both.  It’s a given that a judge will dismiss this, but Riches will appeal (I guarantee it).

Britney is screwed (what else is new?)

StarPulse ran three articles today about the Britney/KFed battles.  This is uglier than an episode of Jerry Springer!  Only one article held my attention.  KFed and his lawyer claim to have sworn affidavits from 3 former employees-a nanny and two bodyguards-attesting to Britney’s fitness as a parent-rather lack thereof.

One of the sources says she gives them not only pop (soda) but also coffee (with cream and sugar)!  She basically refuses to change their diapers but will let them sit in the messed ones until an employee does it.  And she won’t let them fall asleep til 11pm.  But wait, there’s more!  She doesn’t feed them-once again an employee does it.  And the worst of all (I can’t even summarise this, it makes me positively ill)

“When Britney is upset, she yells and screams at the boys and once told them, ‘You were both mistakes!’ She’s called them ‘burdens, a pain in the ass and the reason [your] father left,’” says the source.

And that’s not all.  Kevin is apparently also worried about her sex life-well in regards to how it may affect the kids.  He feels concerned that she may have been promiscuous in front of SP and JJ-the source even claims he was told a few weeks ago that she was pregnant!  The nanny swears that Britney always has male company, telling the kids they are their uncles.

Apparently Britney thinks of her kids they way Paris H. thinks of animals-accessories.  Purportedly she doesn’t even know how to brush SP’s teeth and once tried to whiten them with Crest Whitestrips. [I've used those, they're a pain in the ass and he could so easily have choked!]  When he wouldn’t stop crying she threw them out screaming that he can just have ugly teeth then!

And the part we all know about… the drugs and booze… the source says that she drinks every night, usually to the point of passing out.  Apparently the nanny has also witnessed her taking pills from a prescription bottle, but she doesn’t know what they are.

And one of her bodyguards insists she drinks alcohol from waterbottles.  [Doesn't she always have one of them with her?]  He’s also seen her take prescriptions and drink (a no-no).  Another bodyguard swears she drinks anytime, any kind of booze that’s around, and yes-in front of the boys.

And finally, (yes there IS an end to the allegations!) it’s claimed that Britney will wander around half-dressed or not dressed at all, and demand of her employees to know if she is hot and sexy.  And they claim she’s also done that in front of the boys!

Yeah, she’s screwed.  If the three employees are more credible than she and her witnesses (doesn’t appear to be that hard to do at the moment), she is losing those kids.

Who does Sienna love (if anyone)?

Almost every gossip site I visited today (and let me tell you, there’s a LOT), reported Sienna Miller has fallen for her Sean Bean, her co-star in A Woman of No Importance.  Supposedly she is mesmerised by his green eyes (and oh mama chicken are they some seriously mesmerising eyes!) and the fact that he’s a ‘real macho man’.  The source (unnamed, of course) told the Daily Mail that she doesn’t care that he is 2 years shy of being twice her age.   Sienna’s aide has dismissed the rumours as being completely false.

Now, Starpulse is reporting that a friend of Sienna has told The Sun that Sienna has fallen for a different co-star, Matthew Rhys of Brothers & Sisters, whom she met whilst filming  The Edge of Love.  This friend has been quoted as saying that this bloke is the first since Jude Law whom she’s been serious about.  Allegedly, Keira Knightley encouraged this particular romance.

Instead of Two Girls for Every Boy it should be Two Boys for Every Girl?  (If you don’t get the reference, ask your parents–it’s a popular oldies song; they can probably sing it for you).

Small screen to silver screen?

Before I start let me say that this is unverifiable by me. Okay? Okay.

My friends over at Dotspotter heard from their friends at Geno’s World that Friends (the TV show–doncha love how this is going??) might be headed for the big screen.

So, what Geno’s World is saying is that the studio has tentaive plans to shoot the movie with or without the original cast!  They are said to be planning to replace any unwilling Friends with other big name actors.

I can’t imagine anyone who could take their places though, and I didn’t like the show, so I don’t think the fans will buy into it either…

25th Golden Boot Awards-Viggo!! (And some others :p)

Screen legend JOHN WAYNE is to be posthumously honoured at the 25th Golden Boot Awards in August (07). The Academy Award-winning actor’s son Patrick will collect the Founders Award on his father’s behalf at the Beverly Hills, California ceremony. Wayne died in 1979. Viggo Mortensen, Eva Marie Saint, Martin Kove, Lee Horsley and the late Gene Autry will also be honoured at the 11 August event. The Golden Boot Awards were established in 1982 to pay tribute to those who have furthered the tradition of the western genre on film and television.

Okay, let me say now, I’m a Viggo-phile. I love all things Viggo. So I was happy to see this in my email today!

Albert Insinnia, an actor who had played an NYPD lieutenant on Law and Order SVU has been charged with child porn.  I call it irony because SVU goes after sex offenders and deviants.

Police claim Insinnia has 180 images of child porn on the hard drive of his computer.  His lawyer claims that the images are not his and the hard drive

has been transferred various times in the last few years and a variety of people have had access to it.

A Best Buy employee servicing Insinnia’s computer found the images and informed a police detective who works in the store’s security department.

Sometimes people are just idiots

When someone presents a documentary about a problem with something (the US healthcare system for example) and doesn’t offer up possible solutions, they are criticised.

And now, when someone presents a doco about a problem like global warming (specifically Leonardo DiCaprio’s The 11th Hour) and does offer up solutions they are criticised.

Critics are saying the movie is

too quick to come up with solutions to difficult environmental problems.

Okay, whatever happened to every little bit helps?  And it’s not like he pulled these answers out of his arse.  He had environmental advisors.

Kenny Ausubel, a founder of environmental group Bioneers and advisor on The 11th Hour…”To leave people (with a doomsday view), would be like, ‘What do I do now, go home and shoot myself?’ “The solutions are here. We already know what to do in most cases and even when we don’t, we know what directions to head in.”

I’m almost 30 and I remember hearing about global warming at least as far back as middle school (17 years give or take).  So yeah, I’d say that we have some idea what to do.

And to the critics–are you doing your part?  Then shut up, because either way you have no grounds to complain.

Matt Damon is cameo-ing (is that a word?) on the kids’ TV series Arthur (airdate 3 Sept). I’m not 100% clear on the synopsis of the show, but from what it looks like, Arthur and his friends submit a script (in a contest presumably) about their experiences, and he thinks it will make a good show.

 

It’s to promote a PBS project similar to Matt’s Project Greenlight, but for kids.

Paris’ neighbours must be thrilled!

Her West H’wood house sold 10 days after she had it listed.  Why is she moving?  Well, that depends on which story you believe.

SHE claims she wants more privacy.  She’s quoted as saying:

 ”I feel like a lot of people know where I live so it’s time to move. I’m really upset because I love my house so much. I put so much work into it. It’s totally me. But I’m looking for something else right now.”

I’ve heard whisperings that her neighbours politely asked her to move.

Frankly, that’s the one I’m buyin.  If Paris wanted privacy, she could try staying in once or twice a week day.

And Cameron Diaz, one of Paris’ neighbours, has said

We all suffer when Paris suffers

meaning that when the paps and whomever swarm her house, it affects her neighbours as well.

Maybe they should set up a section of LA exclusively for the publicity whores like Paris.  They can make the streets extra wide so paparazzi can stalk them and still allow traffic through, and they can even set up a condo complex for the paparazzi to use.  Hey, if anyone actually does this, remember it was my idea and share the wealth!   Ah well, we can all dream…
