Hulk Hogan’s son injured in crash

Posted by gnn1 on Sunday, 26 August 2007

Bad night to be famous I guess.  Earlier tonight, Hulk Hogan’s son and another (as yet unidentified) male were seriously injured when the car they were driving slammed into a palm tree in Clearwater Fla.

Early investigations indicate the car was speeding.  The car was completely destroyed and both men had to be extricated using the Jaws of Life.   They were then med-evaced to Bayfront Medical Centre in St Petersburg Fla.

Andy Dick likes the young guys…and water sports

Posted by gnn1 on Sunday, 26 August 2007

Perez Hilton’s readers are quick on the draw-with camera phones!  Thanks to them there are a ton of pics of Andy Dick making out with college aged guys at a club in Columbus Ohio called Axis.

He also seems to like water sports (and no, I’m not talking about water skiing).  A reader claims to have been solicited by the Dick-man whilst in the bathroom and Andy tried to pee on him (ewww-ness!).  The guy says Andy was beyond wasted.

He was beyond drunk. He seemed cracked out as fuck. And for the record, AndyDick’s ‘dick’ is not that impressive.” [I don't know if Perez or the reader bolded that line, but it was already bolded when I got it].

Another reader informed Perez that Andy did manage to get lucky that night, in the club’s bathroom (ewww-ness again).

Several readers claim that Andy tried to cop some cocaine from them.

By the end of the night he was beyond gone and had to be carried out of the club.

Talk about (almost) walking trainwrecks!

Tons of pics over at Perez’s page if you wanna check them out.  Totally worth it, but skip them if you’ve recently eaten.

National Enquirer & Star reports Owen Wilson hospitalised

Posted by gnn1 on Sunday, 26 August 2007

Star Magazine is reporting that actor Owen Wilson was hospitalised for a very serious condition. Information on the condition is unknown; Wilson was rushed to hospital by ambulance and originally had a poor prognosis.

It is reported that police and a criminal attorney are both present, as well…

Update 20.10 (8.09 pm) 26 Aug:
National Enquirer and Star report that Owen Wilson has been transferred to another LA hospital. Sources informed the magazines that his official diagnosis will be dehydration but he will go through detox.

Sounds like a drug overdose or far too much alcohol, or a combo of both. Here’s hoping he’s okay. (I’ve always liked both Wilson brothers).

Update 21.46 (9.46) 26 Aug:
TMZ has a statement from the Santa Monica Police:

“On Sunday Aug. 26. 2007 at 12:10 pm officers from the Santa Monica Police Department responded to a medical assistance call from the Santa Monica Fire Department at the 900 block of 23rd Street. The person was transported to a local hospital where they are being treated.”

TMZ has learned the 911 call came in at 11:59 a.m. to the L.A. Fire Department.

Update: 22.16 (10.16) 26 Aug:
Star Magazine’s headline on a link site (wheresthejuice.com) changed to Owen Wilson attempted suicide.  Their main page still just says hospitalised.  So there is a possibility that he did attempt suicide, which depending on method may require a detox.

What if he had beat his wife instead?

Posted by gnn1 on Sunday, 26 August 2007

I was reading a column online when one paragraph stopped me cold:

“I wondered recently if the furor over Michael Vick would be half as large if he had beat up his wife rather than engaged in a sport in which man’s best friend was harmed.”

I know from experience that the answer is not just no, but hell no.  He would not have been suspended, he may or may not even have been charged.

It’s a sad statement on this country when we place more value on animals than on women.

Aww, Liev, Naomi, and Alexander ^_^

Posted by gnn1 on Sunday, 26 August 2007

And this time the paparazzi stayed back a little ways. Proud papa was carrying Alexander in a baby sling and cradling him with one arm. Head over to MavrixOnline to check out the pics.

Oh Britney, you’re soooooo cool

Posted by gnn1 on Sunday, 26 August 2007

So after she got pulled over for speeding Friday night, Britney decided to tell paps what she thought of their presence. With one finger. And some curse words. As if that did anything other than give the paparazzi pics to sell and bloggers like me stories to write. Dumb bitch.

Surprise smash may get sequel

Posted by gnn1 on Sunday, 26 August 2007

Night at the Museum, which did way better than I’d expected, may be getting a sequel.  It won’t be set in NYC, and it doesn’t appear that it will star Ben Stiller.  Reportedly Robin Williams has signed on, although his IMDb page doesn’t list it, and shows no ‘in-development’ projects’.

Other than this, the only information available is that the screenwriters have said it would be funnier than the first (don’t they always think that) and that it will have

“big new characters”.

Yo Joe!

Posted by gnn1 on Sunday, 26 August 2007

You’ve got a director!  Stephen Sommers has been confirmed as director for the GI Joe live-action movie.  This is the guy behind The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, and Van Helsing.

The movie still hasn’t been cast, but the last rumour I heard had Mark Wahlberg involved.  He has confirmed that he is interested in the project. [This paragraph is unsourced because my memory sucks]

Yay, another remake (and a religious one to boot)

Posted by gnn1 on Sunday, 26 August 2007

Media Hollywood is reporting that a CGI version of The Ten Commandments is coming to theatres in October.  Not only is it a religious film, it’s the first in a series of twelve, called Epic Stories from the Bible.

Needless to say, not one I’m going to rush to theatres to see, and you won’t be finding a trailer for it on here.

Is Love in Bloom?

Posted by gnn1 on Sunday, 26 August 2007

A blurb in the Sunday Mirror indicates that cutie Orlando Bloom may no longer be mingling with the singles.  Supposedly he was seen snogging  with an unidentified brunette at J Sheekeys restaurant in London this week.

I’m not holding my breath because a favourite game of people seems to be “let’s pair off Orlando”.   He’s been rumoured to have dated some four women this year alone.

Britney’s kidnap threat?

Posted by gnn1 on Sunday, 26 August 2007

Now MSNBC got this from Star, so who knows how accurate it is.  But anyhow, here we go…

Allegedly, Brit Brit told KFed to watch out because she may just take the kids during a custody visit and disappear.  Naturally Kevin flipped and is reportedly seeking a restraining order.  Now, each parent is verbotten from taking the kids out of Los Angeles County without the other’s okay, but there’s nothing in place to actually physically stop them from doing so (as evidenced by Ms Trainwreck’s jaunt to Sin City aka Vegas not too long ago).

Life & Style magazine points out that this could, however, just be another in a very long list of rumours about her.

Voldemort can sing?

Posted by gnn1 on Sunday, 26 August 2007

This is just wrong, okay?  Let me get that out right now.  I’m a huge Harry Potter fan, and this is serious just wrong!

Contact Music is reporting that casting is under way for a Harry Potter musical.  All singing, all dancing.  They plan to play Quidditch, in a theatre!  And have singing showdowns between Harry and Voldemort!  Does anyone else see something wrong with this?!

Mel B bi?

Posted by gnn1 on Sunday, 26 August 2007

The Daily Mail ran an article today that Scary Spice aka Mel B had a two year lesbian affair.  Christa Parker alleges that she and Elizabeth Rodriguez had a lesbian affair with the singer after Christa met Mel at an American school their children attended.

Christa says

”I had only had sex with a woman once before…but Mel was obviously very experienced with women. She is a great kisser.”

She goes on to say that the three began a regular sexual relationship seeing each other nearly every day and tumbling into bed several times a week.   Mel supposedly was also dating men at the same time.  The affair was ended when Mel’s torrid romance with her Baby Daddy, Eddie Murphy began in May 2006.

Follow-up to “Lance Ass? part II”

Posted by gnn1 on Sunday, 26 August 2007

I received a comment regarding my post, “Lance Ass? Part II“.  Took a little while because it went into my spam, which as I’ve ranted about is a pain in the arse.  Anyhow, here is the comment:

Tons of people are defending him in the comments. Lance is a nice guy… I’ve met him twice and he was sweet both times. If you don’t already know that Perez is WAY biased against Lance, you’ve been living under a rock.

Now, as a follow up to this comment, to be fair, I went back to the Perez post that triggered the Part II posting, here.  I read the 210 comments and counted the unique comments defending Lance, from people who claim to have met him.  Sorry, but just defending him isn’t enough.  If you haven’t met him your defence means jack-shit.

There were a whopping 15.  There were also an additional 10 who backed up the original email, including several who claim to have been at that performance.  Now obviously, no one knows the truth behind any of these claims.

And another thing to point out.  A number of people met him ’several years ago’.  People change.

And bear in mind, I’m not claiming that I know this to be true.  I don’t know the guy.  From his blog posts he seems okay (but then again, I seem like a bitch, from mine, and I’m not).

So, take what you will from this, and leave the rest.

Apparently Germany isn’t sick of Paris yet–actually they heart her

Posted by gnn1 on Sunday, 26 August 2007

Paris did a GQ Germany spread for the September issue.  She was provocatively (or barely) dressed for a number of the photos.
