Apparently J-Lo really IS preggo. And it’s the news is from her designer!

From CNN website:

Asked what types of clothing he designs for celebrities, the fashion designer told People magazine: “Well Jennifer Lopez, at this moment, she requests something very special because she is waiting for the baby.”

“It is so complicated because every week she is getting bigger,” Cavalli said in a story posted Tuesday on the magazine’s Web site.

Viggo hits The Road

He was last listed as in talks, but an open casting call listing in a Texas newspaper indicates that Viggo is apparently confirmed for the film adaptation of Pulitzer winning novel The Road.

The film stars Viggo Mortensen (“Lord of the Rings”) and will be directed by John Hillcoat (“The Proposition”). It’s an adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize winning novel, “The Road” by Cormac McCarthy.

Synopsis:

“The Road” is the story of a man and his son who experience the devastation of a post-apocalyptic world — sustained only by the love that exists between them.

Filming is said to be scheduled to start in February of 2008.

Follow up-Danny Roane First Time Director

I received the DVD today.  I have 2 midterms to take, so I probably won’t be able to watch til the weekend.  So, hopefully this weekend I’ll be able to tell you if Andy Dick’s movie is better than his personality appears to be.

Sad thing is, I am a Red Sox fan, and couldn’t care less.  It’s no fun if there is no competition.  and the average scores of the four whole games mean no competition.

Love Conquers Paul

So I’m posting now about the movie I’ve been interning on.  It’s called Love Conquers Paul (didn’t see that one coming didja?) and will release next year though not likely to be a major release.

But since I like the script and the acting I have had the chance to see, I’m chatting it up :-p

Paul is socially inept.  He just can’t deal with women.  So he researches them, looking for an ‘in’–a shared interest, just SOMETHING that will make him comfortable enough to initiate a ‘chance’ encounter.  (Yes, he plans chance encounters).

He meets one girl by accident and winds up falling in love.  But Ms Perfect has a secret.  (And no, I’m not sharing; (a) I don’t do spoilers and (b) I can’t).

Cast includes Cooper Harris, Brendan Bradley, Rus Garofalo, Elizabeth Wood, and Peter Riegert.  The movie IMDb page is Love Conquers Paul (2008)

Film: Danny Roane: First Time Director

Rec’d an email to pass along regarding Andy Dick’s new film.

The Lionsgate film is “a mockumentary about a washed up television star trying to stage a comeback by sobering up and directing his own feature film.”

Principal cast is given as:

• Andy Dick (writer, director, star)
• Anthony Rapp (Mark from Rent)
• James Van Der Beek

MC Hammer, Michelle Rodriguez, Bobby Brown…and me

MC Hammer is alive and well, TMZ reports.  A person named Stanley Burrell did die, but not the famous one.

Michelle Rodriguez played a bitch on LOST and seems it may have been a type cast.  TMZ indicates that she has been sentenced to 120 days in jail for probation violations, including signing off on her community service despite not even being in state when it was done!  She was on probation for DUI and a hit and run.

Bobby Brown had a mild heart attack, according to CNN.com.  He spent the night in a hospital after having chest pains.  Guess people forgot to tell him that drugs will do that to you?  His reps say that he thanks his fans for their well-wishes.  He still has fans?

Because I am working 11-15 hour days as a production assistant right now, the format of entries is going to change.  I’m not going to link-source.  I will list what site I get the information from.  The entries will be shorter and multiple topics listed in one post.

Sleep and time for myself have become luxuries, and that (aside from my internet crash) has been a big reason why I haven’t kept up with posting.
